Program Overview

This course covers basic principles involved in making fillet and groove welding such as 2F, 3F, 4F, 1G, 2G, 3G and 4G positions welds on mild steel plate using standard industrial procedures, equipment, and welding electrodes using Flux cored arc welding (FCAW) process. Includes basic technical and related information concerning other welding processes in comparison to the Flux cored arc welding process in accordance with American Welding Society (AWS) D1. 1 and BS-EN-ISO 9606.
